Sunshine Screenprinting

It's been a beautiful sunny autumn day here today. I don't know why
but this kind of weather always makes me feel like screenprinting :)

So, even though I really should have been working on other things
I've been self-indulgent and printed up some of my Atomic Flower
design in a fluoro pink on ecru linen/cotton.

Apologies for the photos... I just can't seem to capture the colour
of the fluoro pink... and the fabric looks a bit grey too I'm afraid.

Anyway, it has been fun but I better get back to other work things now.

Do you find the autumn/winter sunshine inspires you to do things?
I love it because it's less blinding than the summer sun... but of
course it means you cannot get good photos ;)

I have some more bad photos over on Paravent's facebook page
if you can bear it ;)

  7. Looks cool Kylie! Love the colour :) Thanks for the kind words, I am seriously LOVING Melbourne (have wanted to live here for the last four years). I was visiting every six months and then decided it was Brisbane that I should be visiting. Everything has gone amazingly and I am seriously waiting to wake up any minute. I am living with/working for and meeting designers/crafters/musicians and it's AWESOME :) I have no idea where things will take me but I don't care, I feel more alive and inspired and young then I have in the last six years. I read about your 3 Sheets drama, so lame! Mean people are fucking downers but we all get stuck with them at some point. I like your new name! xo

  8. Love the design Kylie. It's quality comes through even with not great photos!
I have a question for you. Do you think Facebook is good for spreading the word about your work? Have you found it useful? I am doing some research about art- money and marketing and I would love to know what you think.
