I've officially embraced my inner fluorescence.. just can't seem to get enough
of this glaring garish colour. What is it about this?
I just love it - so fresh and fun and alive!
I'm certifiably neon crazy :)
Hopefully these will all make it to the shop one day soon.

(Just as a curio... the top photo is with my regular camera and the bottom two
are Instagram shots... funny how the Insta captures the neon but the regular
dulls it, yes...? Any clever-sticks out there know why?)
yay for neon!
ReplyDeleteabout your question, is because there's a digital filter applied to the app? while in the regular digital shot you can work that out with photoshop to have more dept in the fluorescence I guess. But if you use an analog then you can use areal filter and have most probably the same effect.

Fabulous. You're amazing Alessandra :) Kx
DeleteI am suffering similarly. I think I have a post even two years ago where I had caught the neon bug and it only intensifies (have you caught a peek into the Sass and Bide store? They do great displays with neons at the moment). I love what you are doing with it - looks fantastic with the neutrals. Is that circular one going to be a cushion??? Wish I had your talent!
ReplyDeleteps have thought Winona thing through - we shouldn't let it come between our friendship - how about you are Winona for the shoplifting and obscurity phase and I will be Winona for the Johnny Depp/Matt Damon phase? :)
Jo. xx
Thanks Jo :) Yes, I have already been eyeing the Sass and Bide goodies - the neon thing is seriously addictive!
DeleteYes, there are three cushions in the making there - a circular, an isometric and a fabric in the same colour tones.
I have Cecil B deMille syndrome at the moment - making it look like I produce colourway collections! haha :)
Okay, Winona olive branch humbly accepted... I can cope with being the obscure shoplifter ;)
Cut about missing out on Johnny Depp but I'll cope by nimbly thieving something from Sass and Bide! ;)

After some scary early 90's attire, I didn't think I'd ever like neon again. I have to say though, it's growing on me! Love the color combo you're working with.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks for this - I do understand... I feel the same way about 80s fashions (never going there again!) Kx
DeleteSuch a flash back!!! I remember wearing neon socks to my very first disco.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a safety colour! I'm not sure how I feel about it... but this week I was sewing with neon orange thread which was super easy to clean up afterwards... even in the dark!!!
Blimey!
ReplyDeleteawesome, Kylie!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving a bit of neon at the moment. Went to buy this fabulous scarf that had these bright neon blue pom poms on it from Witchery.... sold out!
ReplyDeleteHello Kylie! I'm with you regarding the neon colours, they have something happy. Nice work as aways:)
ReplyDeleteLove, love the neon!
ReplyDeleteAnd as to colours, I would blame differing camera colour profiles, too.
Where did you find the neon yarn?? Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteFun, fun Kylie! Enjoy;)
ReplyDeleteI quite like a bit of neon too... so summery hey! :)
ReplyDeletelove it kylie... you are so clever. x
ReplyDeleteFits right into the fashion at the moment - can't escape the neon colours. I have a soft spot for them too - they make an awesome highlight!
ReplyDeletewow! super Kylie;I'm also crazy about fluo lately, but it is indeed difficult to capture on camera.
ReplyDeleteLove your previous posts too
have a nice weekend!!
loving the neon! It's amazing how much fun it is! xx K
ReplyDeleteI like it too, in certain applications. I'm a little afraid of reliving the 80s, but that fluoro sneaks into my heart sometimes. :)
