New Harlequin Pattern

I've released a new crochet pattern in my Etsy store – my version of the fresh + bold
Harlequin design :) With loads of instructions, both pictorial and written, it's an easy
pattern that even beginners can use to create their own blanket.

It's the perfect time to get in early and start on your very own Harlequin blanket in time for
the Winter!

You can find my Harlequin pattern here :)

Funky Retro Groover

It must be summer bringing out the funky retro groover in me... hot hazy days, hoping to
catch some breeze through the breeze blocks, those fabulous 1970s architectural standard
you see so often here in the Southern sub-tropics :) Well, that's my inspiration... and this is
the new pattern I've designed, block printed and made into cushions.

There's the original Breeze Block design with a repeat pattern of 10cms, and then the
Breeze Block (Mini) with a repeat of 5cms. Pouches and other fresh fun things coming soon.

So right now and so available in my Etsy store :)

New Crochet Pattern

It's been a while in the making, fine-tuning the details, testing and double-testing...
but I've finally released a pattern for my Finger Wave crochet design... yah!

Okay, so it's not the best name in the universe ;) The base of the pattern uses a generic
free-pattern ripple or wave design and my original design variations have turned out to look
very much like little fingers to me... hence the name.

Anyway, I'm very excited to have finally got it all down into a pattern... and it's now available
in my Etsy shop :)

I based the colour scheme on a beautiful orchid I have flowering at the moment.
What do you think...?

More circus fun :)

No such thing as too much circus in this house! It's bright and fun and perfect for the still chilly Spring we're having :)

Green harlequin cushion, entirely handmade from sumptuous 100% Peruvian Highland wool. Now in the shop :)

The Circus is in town!

I've just finished a special order and felt like having a bit of fun with some fabric panels
I found in my work drawer. This made me think of a super sparkly length of trimming that
I bought in New York years and years ago... and hey presto! Ladies and Gentlemen, I do
believe the circus has come to town! :)

Double-sided cushions in my original designs of Orbit (in Neon Pink and Neon Yellow)
and Oasis (in Neon Pink) printed on a medium-weight cotton.

A bit of circus fun... now in the shop :)

Neon cushion frenzy!

It was a public holiday here today, which meant time to go for walks, to have tea with the
fam... and to make up a fresh batch of cushions. Orbit in Neon Pink and Flame Forrest in
Neon Yellow now in the shop :)

If you had the day off today too, I hope it was a lovely one for you :)

A bit of neon pop!

More and more lately I've been wrapping presents in beautifully plain simple kraft paper.
I love it :) I think it has a pared-back elegance that softly whispers 'You're going to love what's inside here' ;)

Good old kraft paper does need a bit of neon pop to set it off though.... So, I've made up
some gift tags using my original artwork design, Oh! Embroidered 2, just for this purpose :)

If you feel like a bit of neon pop too, you can find some 'popping' gift tags here :)
